Vettex Sports (formerly LZRD Tech) began in a classroom at Georgia Tech in 2019, when two engineering students turned a materials science project into a real solution for problems they saw on the football field.

HOW IT STARTED

What started as an assignment quickly evolved into a grip-enhancing arm sleeve, using the materials and design principles the founders were studying to help players secure the ball and protect their arms.

2026

TODAY

Today, Vettex supplies its products to more than 40 FBS football programs, hundreds of high schools, and tens of thousands of athletes across the country, and with the 2025 rebrand to Vettex Sports, the founders' mission has expanded to bring these science-backed innovations to athletes across all sports worldwide.
